Taking a look at the best Week 15 NFL Survivor Pool Picks, including the Philadelphia Eagles.
We’re down to the final few weeks of the season, and we have a few good teams left to use in our survival pool! If you are unaware of what NFL Survivor picks are, the basic concept is you make NFL picks throughout the season, but you can only pick a team once. Once you lose, you’re knocked out, so choose your Week 15 NFL Survivor Pool picks wisely.
If you are new to reading my survivor articles, what I do is outline my “lock of the week,” my “value of the week,” and my “high-risk, high-reward pick of the week.”
The “lock” details what team I think has the best chance of winning their matchup. This will most likely be a good team that plays a bad.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Las Vegas Raiders
The Philadelphia Eagles open the week as 11.5-point favorites, which is one of the highest spreads of the week, and for good reason. They play a bad Las Vegas Raiders team. While the Eagles’ offense has looked like a shell of its former self over the past few weeks, this is the game that it will get back on track. Injuries and inconsistent offensive line play have severely limited that strong run game that we saw end the season last year, and while that is still somewhat the case in this game, the Raiders are a team that can be run over. This game really feels like a “get back to basics” and get the ball to our best player and let him run wild. With Saquon Barkley being a focal point of the offense this week, that should surely help Jalen Hurts settle in and use his legs to help complement Barkley. The run will also help to set up those open passing lanes for Hurts to make those easy throws.
As far as the offense goes for the Raiders, there is nothing that really scares you for the Eagles other than Brock Bowers. The Raiders still employ the worst offensive line in the entire NFL, so guys like Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis should have no issues when trying to stop Ashton Jeanty. Add on top of that Zach Baun continuing to play like one of the best inside linebackers in the league, and the Raiders will struggle to run the ball in this game. That works out in the Eagles’ favor, as if the Raiders have to rely on the pass, this game could get ugly quickly. Geno Smith has been bad, but he may not even play in the game. Kenny Pickett is not an upgrade that makes this NFL Survivor pool pick scare whatsoever.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers open the week as four-point favorites in what feels like as close to a must-win game as you can get. After their shocking loss to the New Orleans Saints last week, Tampa is in desperate need of a feel-good victory, and they have the perfect matchup to do it this week against the division rival Atlanta Falcons. While the Buccaneers look like a shell of their former selves, due in part to Baker Mayfield’s injury, they do have something going for them this week. Both Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan were activated off of IR, so adding those two players to a receiving room with Chris Godwin and Emeka Egbuka gives the offense a major boost. Add to the fact that Bucky Irving is back and playing great football, and all of a sudden, this Buccaneers offense looks like it is going to be the most potent in the NFL. With all of these different weapons, Tampa should have no problem moving the ball both on the ground and through the air.
Much like Philadelphia, this is a game that Tampa can come in and beat up on the lesser opponent. The Falcons have been extremely disappointing this season, and while injuries to Michael Penix and Drake London have shown that, the Falcons have not done a great job of remedying it. Kirk Cousins is certainly not the quarterback that he once was, and at this point, the only volt of life in the offense has been Bijan Robinson. The Buccaneers just need to focus on not letting Robinson destroy them, which plays somewhat into Tampa’s favor, as they have been okay against the run this season. Tampa should easily win this game.

High Risk, High Reward Pick of the Week | Week 15 NFL Survivor Pool Picks
New York Giants vs Washington Commanders
With not a lot of games this week that fit into the high-risk, high-reward category, I am taking a shot on picking the New York Giants to beat the Washington Commanders. The Giants come into the week as 2.5-point favorites, which may seem odd as the Commanders have a better record than they do. When looking at these teams, though, it certainly looks like New York has the better collection of players. We saw the Commanders get absolutely destroyed last week against that strong Minnesota Vikings pass rush. They were not able to even score a point. That has to be the game plan this week for the Giants. Use that strong front seven that you had and get after Marcus Mariota. The Commanders don’t pose any threat in the run game, so sending pressure the entire game is the key for the Giants to win this game.
Looking at the offense, Jaxson Dart is back starting for the Giants and is in line for a great game this week. We saw JJ McCarthy carve up the Commanders’ defense last week, and if McCarthy can do it, we know that Dart can do it. Theo Johnson continues to perform as one of the more underrated tight ends in the NFL this season and will be a major part of Dart’s game this week. At this point in the season, it really feels like Washington is done for the year. They have nothing to play for, and their franchise quarterback got hurt once again. While vying for that number one pick is in play for the Giants, this game feels like a game where they can pick up some momentum and hang their hats on having a great game after yet another disappointing season.
