Fantasy football streamers at the DST position for NFL Week 14 include the Philadelphia Eagles defense.
When it comes to the Fantasy Football Playoffs, all bets are off as far as lineup decisions. Much like your bench strategy should change as far as the players you hold onto for a playoff run, the only focus at the D/ST position should be maximizing your point total in the week that sits in front of you. Unless you are fortunate enough to have a truly elite defense such as the Seahawks, Texans or Broncos, utilizing fantasy football streamers at the position based on the most favorable matchups is the approach to take. If there is an edge to be gained, then throw caution to the wind and gain it! Every point counts when it’s win-or-go home.
Below, we highlight some of the top defense fantasy football streamers available to help you gain an edge in matchups this week. Also, be sure to check out our Week 14 fantasy football rankings for further assistance with lineup decisions!

Week 14 Defense Fantasy Football Streamers
Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy DST (55.6%)
Admittedly, it hasn’t been pretty for the Eagles the last two weeks. Last Friday’s home game against Chicago was perhaps the most embarrassing performance yet for a defense that is regarded as one of the best in the NFL. Philadelphia got mauled at the line of scrimmage and allowed the Bears to rush for a whopping 281 yards in the game. Rest assured, very few if anyone expected that sort of success for the Bears on the ground. After all, this is an Eagles defense that is anchored by its defensive front. A failure to accumulate counting stats and 24 points allowed in each of the last two games has resulted in Philly scoring just one fantasy point over that recent span.
A common theme for us in this defense fantasy football streamers column throughout the season has been holding our nose and buying on bad news. The sky may be falling in Philadelphia right now, but there is plenty of reason to consider the Eagles as a fantasy defense in Week 14 and beyond. After getting pushed around last week, one has to believe that Vic Fangio will have this group ready to prove a point on Sunday. Matchup wise, the Eagles will be on the road to face the Los Angeles Chargers and Justin Herbert, who needed to have surgery on his non-throwing hand earlier this week.
Herbert’s status for Week 14 is officially day-to-day, with most expecting him to play. If he’s available, the Chargers clearly have several offensive weapons capable of exploiting a thin Philadelphia secondary. However, L.A. has been hit hard by injuries on the offensive line, and that could prove to be a major problem against Jalen Carter and the rest of the Eagles’ front seven.
One final note here on the Eagles — they play the pathetic excuse of an offense that is the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15! If you are a fantasy manager who has already secured a spot in the playoffs, why not pick up the Eagles a week early? They can probably put forth a better performance than most expect this week as you jockey for seeding, and they will be in the conversation for the top D/ST ranking spot next week when you find yourself in win-or-go-home playoff mode!
More Fantasy Football Streamers Week 14
Miami Dolphins Fantasy DST (16.6%)
For the second week in a row, the Dolphins find themselves among our preferred defense fantasy football streamers options. Miami has now won four of five games on the field and improvement defensively has been a major catalyst for this impressive turnaround. The trend continued last week with Anthony Weaver’s group coming up with four sacks, a pair of takeaways and finishing with only 17 points allowed en route to 13 fantasy points. The Dolphins have now scored at least seven fantasy points in four of five games after only doing that once in their first seven contests of the season!
Another promising matchup awaits the Miami defense in Week 14. This will mark the second head-to-head matchup against the division-rival New York Jets of the season. Of course, the glaring difference will be that the Jets are operating with Tyrod Taylor at QB compared to Justin Fields in the Week 4 encounter. Taylor has certainly jumpstarted New York’s passing attack, but this is still an offense that ranks 27th in overall EPA/play this season.
Opposing defenses have still found success against the Jets even in recent weeks, even with Taylor under center. While there has been plenty of buzz surrounding wideouts Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie, part of our argument here in favor of the Dolphins is the lack of proven consistency at wideout for the Jets. If Miami can continue their defensive success down in the red zone, there’s plenty pointing towards another strong fantasy output.
Tennessee Titans Fantasy DST (8.9%)
We’ve had our fair share of fun with contrarian, “hold-your-nose” plays over the course of the season. Why on Earth would we stop now with the start of the fantasy playoffs just one week away? With four teams on bye in Week 14, there’s a good chance that some of the preferred defense fantasy football streamers could be in high demand in your league. Rest assured, if other options are few and far between, the Tennessee Titans will probably still be available! After all, basically no one wants anything to do with the Titans for fantasy purposes. Allow me to make the case!
Back in Week 9, the Titans recorded six sacks and scored a pair of D/ST touchdowns to erupt for 20 fantasy points. Tennessee went on bye the following week, but has managed to produce exactly five fantasy points in each of three games since. The Titans may be the worst team in the NFL, but the defense at least has some level of competency. With regard to Week 14, one can’t ask for a much more favorable matchup than the one Tennessee gets against the Cleveland Browns.
Sure, Shedeur Sanders has done some nice things, but the Browns’ remain extremely limited offensively. The betting over/under for this game sits at 33.5 points, giving you an idea of what is expected from a scoring standpoint here. The Browns rank 30th in EPA/play offensively and have given up the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses this season. It may not feel great, especially if you need a win to make the playoffs, but the Titans have to be considered here given the promising matchup.
