Week 10 Fantasy Football QB Streaming Options
JJ McCarthy vs Baltimore Ravens (25.3%)
After missing a majority of the season with an ankle injury, JJ McCarthy’s return to the field saw great results for the Vikings last week in their upset victory over the Detroit Lions. In that game, McCarthy finished as QB13 with two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown. On paper, McCarthy has a better matchup this week against the Baltimore Ravens, who have struggled against opposing passers this season. On the season, the Ravens are giving up 21.6 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. In total, the Ravens have given up 2,078 passing yards and 14 passing touchdowns this season.
McCarthy also walks into this game with as good of weapons as anyone in the NFL. Justin Jefferson finally found the end zone last week and will continue to be the number one target in the offense. Next to him is Jordan Addison, who is one of the better number two wide receivers in the NFL. The Vikings are also featuring Jalen Nailor, who has an obvious connection with McCarthy.

Marcus Mariota vs Detroit Lions (5.2%)
As I stated before, Jayden Daniels suffered a gruesome arm injury at the end of last week’s game, leading Marcus Mariota to be the starter of the Washington Commanders for the foreseeable future. While this is not a great sight for Commanders fans, Mariota still ranks among the best backup quarterbacks in the NFL today. This week, the matchup favors the Washington passer, as the Detroit Lions have struggled against opposing passers this season. On the season, the Lions are giving up 21.4 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. They have given up 1,773 passing yards and 16 passing touchdowns.
Given that the Commanders are not playing at full strength, this is a game that they will be playing from behind in. After a tough loss to the Vikings last week, I would imagine that the Lions are going to come into this game hot and biting kneecaps. Washington will be in a lot of passing situations this week, and given Detroit’s struggles against the pass, Mariota’s fantasy numbers will reflect that.
Davis Mills vs Jacksonville Jaguars (0%)
CJ Stroud left last week’s game with a concussion, which pushed Davis Mills into the offensive lead last week. He finished the game with 137 passing yards. With Stroud still in concussion protocol, Mills will have a full week to practice with the ones this week. The good news for the Texans is that they have a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags are one of the defenses that opposing teams have preyed on this season. In total, the Jaguars are giving up 24.5 fantasy points per game to opposing passers. They have given up 2,063 passing yards this season.
At his disposal, Mills will be working with Nico Collins, who is one of the better outside receivers in the NFL, along with a pair of rookies and Dalton Schultz. That is more than enough for Mills to succeed as a passer with a great matchup against the Jaguars this season. Even with Houston’s struggles over the past two seasons, Houston will be able to move the ball in this game, and Mills will be heading that if Stroud is out.
