Vegas Vipers and Arlington Renegades Game Preview:

Talking about Vegas Vipers first, they have several highly rated players, such as Martavis Bryant, the former Pittsburgh Steeler. In this game, they’ll have the services of Brett Hundley, the starting quarterback.

He played as a backup in the NFL for three seasons and played for the Green Bay Packers when Aaron Rodgers suffered an injury. Moreover, Edge rusher Vic Beasley will lead the defence. In 2016, he earned All-Pro honours in the NFL with 15.5 sacks.

They’re led by Rod Woodson, who coached in the NFL from 2011-17 and has worked as an analyst for the NFL Network, the Big Ten Network, and Westwood One.

Regarding their game style, Rod Woodson is going with the offensive mindset and signing Brett Hundley as the starting quarterback proves that quarterbacks dictate a team’s success. Moreover, Brett also has NFL experience, which will help his offence.

In the defensive department, Vic Beasley Jr. is their most notable player, a former top-10 pick of the Atlanta Falcons from the 2015 NFL Draft and earned All-pro honours in 2016 during their run for the super-bowl.

On the other hand, Arlington Renegades are entering the league as one of the best-participating teams. However, unlike their opponent, Arlington doesn’t have many notable players in their squad. Tight end Sal Cannella is the one who can cause problems for opponents. He shined in last year’s USFL, including 154 receiving yards in a playoff game.

Talking about their game style, one clear thing is that they’ll show up and show out with some top-notch gameplay. They’re led by Bob Stoops, a college football legend who coached at Oklahoma for 19 years, with a national championship in 2001 and is the winningest coach in Oklahoma’s history with a 191-78 (.799) record and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame last season as well.

Talking about Arlington Renegades’ offence, they have a balanced, highly productive offence, with plenty of USFL and XFL experience in the squad. Drew Plitt has beaten Kyle Sloter for the starting quarterback position to start the season.

Moreover, led by Kenneth Farrow and Keith Ford, who can cause problems for the opponent side, the running back room has plenty of depth. Flynn Nagel, who played for stoops at Oklahoma, will join Jordan Smallwood as a wide receiver. Meanwhile, Sal Cannella will be a problem for opponents at tight end and will provide plenty of targets to stress the Vipers’ defence.
