Underdog Fantasy NFL DFS Picks For Texans vs Chiefs Playoffs
Jahmyr Gibbs HIGHER 23.5 Receiving Yards
It has become no secret that the force behind the Detroit Lions’ strong offensive play is their running back duo, which is partnered with their offensive line. Jahmyr Gibbs has seemingly taken over as the lead back in this backfield with David Montgomery injured. But with Montgomery back this week, some of the weight has been taken off of Gibbs’s back. While I am not expecting Montgomery to see 20 carries in this game, I do imagine he sees about 60% of his normal workload. With Montgomery back in the fold, I think Gibbs sees a little more use in the passing game and on long downs.
With how strong he is in the receiving game, it feels like 23.5 receiving yards is just too low. I think that Washington should be able to move the ball in this game and this is one where Detroit can’t just roll over on. Gibbs has gone over this line ten times this season and with Montgomery back to compliment each other, it feels like Gibbs easily hits this in this matchup.
Bobby Wagner HIGHER 3.5 Assisted Tackles
Over the past decade or more, it would be hard to find a better inside linebacker in the NFL than Bobby Wagner. From his time on the Seattle Seahawks until now, he has certainly put together a Hall of Fame career and that continues as he looks to bring the Washington Commanders to a Super Bowl. With David Montgomery back in this game, I think there is a little stronger incentive for the Lions to run the ball in this game. To me, that screams tackles upon tackles for Wagner. For someone of his caliber, 3.5 assisted tackles feel too low for Wagner. He has gone over this line nine times this season. In order to beat the Lions, the Commanders need to do all they can to stop the run. If they go all out in stopping the run early, Wagner could hit the over on this line in the first half of the game.

Jeremy Chinn HIGHER 2.5 Assisted Tackles
As I stated before with Bobby Wagner, the Lions are certainly looking to run the ball. Once the run is set up, Jared Goff excels at using the play action to work Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta over the middle of the field. Jeremy Chinn should see another big game, as the Lions and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers don’t have a crazy difference when it comes to their offensive game plan. Cheating up in the run game early and then dropping into coverage on long downs should be a major key to limiting the Lions’ offensive game.
I am expecting Jeremy Chinn to be very involved in the defensive secondary. Chinn has enjoyed a solid season this year and, like Bobby Wagner, this Underdog Fantasy line just feels a little too low for a good player. He has gone over this total in each of his last four games.
