What is Underdog Fantasy?
In addition to live DFS drafts, Underdog Fantasy offers pick’em contests. In essence, making NBA DFS picks on Underdog combines daily fantasy sports and player props into one. A wide variety of player props exist for NBA DFS picks today. The more props a user combines, the greater their potential payout.
Unlike some other platforms in the market, Underdog Fantasy also allows users the flexibility to pick and choose which props they pair together. You can even combine DFS picks from multiple sports and games! When making Underdog Fantasy NBA picks, the only limitations are truly the user’s own imagination and creativity.
Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Payout
For the pick’em game format, users string player props together to form an entry. Without adding insurance to the entry by making it a “Flex” entry, you must get every selection correct to be paid out the following payouts (unless there are player multipliers). If picks are correlated, the payout can shift a bit. With insurance, the payout is less, but you can get a selection wrong and still win money!
- 2 Picks: 3x
- 3 Picks: 6x
- 4 Picks: 10x
- 5 Picks: 20x

NBA DFS Plays and Underdog Fantasy Picks
Devin Booker HIGHER Than 24.5 Points
The Phoenix Suns come off a big overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers to start the season. In game two, the Suns take on the Los Angeles Lakers.
Booker went under his 25.5 points line last game, but that was due in part to fouling out of the game, as James Harden played a great game. I don’t expect that to be the case against the Lakers though, as Booker will probably guard Austin Reeves or D’Angelo Russell in this one. Booker has gone over the 24.5-point line in five of his last seven games against the Lakers. As it stands, right now in his career, it looks like Kevin Durant is willing to pass at least to start the game. Booker outscored Durant in the first half of the game against the Clippers. With Booker running the point, Russell could be guarding him some, which is certainly a matchup that Booker can expose.
I think that this is probably one of the lowest NBA DFS point projections that we will see for Booker this season on Underdog Fantasy, so I am going to take it all day.
Miles Bridges HIGHER Than 28.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
When I was looking at Underdog Fantasy NBA DFS picks for this article, I saw this and immediately added it to my slip. In the Hornets’ win over the Rockets, Brandon Miller went down with a hip injury, meaning that there will be more shots and rebounds to go around. Miles Bridges continues to rebound the ball really well out of the forward position, as he is averaging 7+ rebounds per game over the last two seasons.
In Bridges’ last eight games against the Hawks, he has played 30 or more minutes. To add one more layer to that, Bridges played 14 out of the possible 24 minutes in the first half of the game against the Hawks and almost 11 minutes in the fourth quarter. Bridges should have the size advantage on Jalen Johnson and will need to at least be the second option for the Hornets in Miller’s absence.
Tyrese Maxey LOWER Than 41.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
In a favorable matchup against the Bucks in game one without Paul George and Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey was only able to muster 34 points+rebounds+assists. In this game, Maxey will probably have a little more resistance against him with matchups against Immanuel Quickley and Davion Mitchell. Jakob Poeltl and Scottie Barnes will be able to patrol the paint in this game, which will force Maxey to shoot off of the dribble.
Since the 76ers have to travel to Toronto, I think that this is going to be a letdown for the Sixers as they are still going to be without Joel Embiid and Paul George in this game. Without those two stars, the Raptors, kind of what the Bucks did, can make life a little difficult for Maxey. The Bucks were able to force Maxey into a lot of tough shots, as he shot just 10/31. It is going to be hard for Maxey to rack up rebounds and assists in this game, so the 41.5 line seems a bit too high for my liking.
