Underdog Fantasy NFL DFS Picks For Ravens vs Steelers Playoffs

Minkah Fitzpatrick HIGHER 2.5 Assisted Tackles

It should be somewhat of a nice night in Baltimore on Saturday, being 32 degrees with about 11 miles per hour of wind. That leads me to believe there should not be any outside factors when it comes to the Ravens offense in this game. We know that the Ravens want to run the ball, so I would imagine the Steelers should be able to cheat up in the box at least a little bit in order to stop Derrick Henry. That means that Minkah Fitzpatrick should be a big part of stopping him.

We also know that it takes more than one guy to take Henry down and Fitzpatrick has shown that he is no slouch when it comes to flying around and finishing plays. When Lamar Jackson keeps the ball on options and designed runs, he often gets to the second level of the defense. In order to stop Jackson’s rushing ability, Fitzpatrick has to be a big part of the game plan. Fitzpatrick has gone over the 2.5 assisted tackle line eight times this season, including both times the Steelers played the Ravens, making this a sneaky good Underdog Fantasy NFL DFS pick.

Jaylen Warren HIGHER 19.5 Receiving Yards

The Baltimore Ravens passing defense has taken quite the turn in the middle of the season. Both Kyle Hamilton and Marlon Humphrey are playing at All-Pro levels and Nate Wiggins has somewhat turned it on to end the season. If Pittsburgh wants to win this game, Russell Wilson has to take care of the ball. You cannot give the ball to Baltimore and expect to win. While Najee Harris will get some run, Jaylen Warren is the change-of-pace guy who should play on passing downs.

The betting line for this game is the Ravens winning the game by 9.5 points. If that stays true, it seems that Pittsburgh will probably be playing from behind for the majority of the game. If that is the case, they will likely need to pass the ball. With Warren being that passing down back and Wilson needing to avoid turning the ball over, it feels like Warren to go over 19.5 receiving yards is a lock, especially if the Ravens can get a strong pass rush. On the season, Warren has gone over this line seven times, with four of those games coming in December and later when Pittsburgh was playing games from behind. He also went over this line in both games against the Ravens.

Derrick Henry HIGHER 5.5 Receiving Yards

It feels like history continues to repeat itself. When the weather gets colder, Derrick Henry gets better. I think that the 9.5-point spread has a lot to do with how good of a playmaker Henry is. While he has been dominant in the run game this season, he has been pretty consistent in the receiving game as well. Henry is not the receiver that he once was, but in a playoff game where Jackson is probably going to be a little bit more conservative than usual, a 5.5 receiving yardage line seems way too low for me.

Jackson is probably the MVP this season and a lot of that has to do with taking care of the ball. Especially with Zay Flowers out of this game, I think that Jackson plays conservatively enough to not lose the game. Even with Justice Hill playing well this season, Henry has gone over 5.5 receiving yards nine times this season, including each of the last three games. With the lack of Flowers, I think Henry becomes a little more involved in the passing game. And even if he doesn’t, Henry can certainly gain six yards on one reception.
