I would like to start this article off by saying Happy Veterans Day and a big thank you to all of those who have served this great country! Since November 11th falls on a Thursday this year, there is in fact some NFL action this evening. Although the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins are separated by a wide margin in the standings, last week certainly proved that anything is possible in the National Football League. While there are plenty of ways to have betting action on this TNF contest, fans are also encouraged to check out the various Ravens vs Dolphins NFL DFS picks and player props offered at Underdog Fantasy.

The following article provides a brief intro to the phenomenal Underdog Fantasy platform and offers up a handful of DFS picks and NFL player props to consider for the Ravens vs Dolphins Thursday Night Football matchup.

What is Underdog Fantasy?

Underdog Fantasy might be most known for their live DFS drafts, but they also offer pick’em contests. In essence, making NFL DFS picks on Underdog combines daily fantasy sports and player props into one. Available to those in non-sports betting states, a wide variety of player props exist for tonight’s Ravens vs Dolphins TNF matchup. The more props a user combines together, the greater their potential payout.

Unlike some other platforms in the market, Underdog Fantasy also allows users the flexibility to pick and choose which props they combine together. You can even combine DFS picks from multiple sports and games! When making Underdog Fantasy NFL picks, the only limitations are truly the user’s own imagination and creativity.

Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Payout

For the pick’em game format, users string player props together to form a parlay. If one pick is wrong, the entire fantasy football parlay fails. However, cashing can give a very nice payout, with more picks meaning a higher multiplier.

  • 2 Picks: 3x
  • 3 Picks: 6x
  • 4 Picks: 10x
  • 5 Picks: 20x

Best Underdog Fantasy DFS Picks for TNF | Ravens vs Dolphins

Much like betting odds move and update throughout the day and week, props at Underdog Fantasy also move. In other words, if there is a prop you like, make sure you place it quickly.

Lamar Jackson (BAL) Over 18.5 Completions

While he still is far from a perfect pocket passer, Lamar Jackson has been doing damage with his arm this season more than ever. The Ravens have shown an ability to play from behind thanks to his improved reads and better throws. One could argue that the passing attack has usurped the ground game in terms of weekly potential in this offense. It certainly has far more talent, with rookie wideout Rashod Bateman providing another great weapon.

Jackson has only finished under the NFL DFS picks total of 18.5 completions three times all season. One of those saw him come up just short with 18 completed passes. The other two came in a horrendous performance against the Cincinnati Bengals three weeks ago and an inexplicable stinker against the Detroit Lions back in Week 3. It’s hard to envision a clunker against the porous Dolphins defense tonight.

Jaylen Waddle (MIA) Over 5.5 Receptions

Rookie wideout Jaylen Waddle has emerged as a go-to target for the Dolphins no matter who is playing quarterback. After drawing target counts of 13, 8, and 11 in three consecutive weeks with former Alabama teammate Tua Tagovailoa under center, Waddle hauled in eight of 10 targets from backup Jacoby Brissett last Sunday. With DeVante Parker back on the shelf due to injury, Waddle is easily the top receiver in Miami’s offense. He also stands to benefit from a great NFL DFS matchup in the slot tonight against Ravens’ corner Tavon Young.

Rashod Bateman (BAL) Under 45.5 Receiving Yards

Since making his return from injury and finally getting on the field in an NFL game, all Rashod Bateman has done is impress. He has been targeted a minimum of six times in all three of his games played to date. However, it’s worth noting that he has yet to play more than 66% of Baltimore’s offensive snaps in any game. No matter how well he plays, Bateman is unlikely to usurp either Marquise Brown or Mark Andrews when it comes to go-to targets for Lamar Jackson.

In addition, veteran wideout Sammy Watkins is expected to return from his own injury and play in tonight’s Ravens vs Dolphins TNF matchup. There are just too many variables to trust Bateman in this spot, making under 45.5 the NFL DFS picks choice.

Durham Smythe (MIA) Over 9.5 Receiving Yards

Durham Smythe who? It would take an injury to dominant Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki for Smythe to ever vault up the depth chart and become a relevant name for most. However, there is reason to like Miami’s No. 2 TE as far as NFL DFS picks go tonight. The Ravens defense has been atrocious at covering opposing tight ends all season long. They enter Thursday’s game allowing over 18 fantasy points per game to the position, the second-most of any team.

With the Dolphins thin at wide receiver, Smythe is more likely to draw targets when he is on the field. The fact that 9.5 receiving yards can be cleared with just one reception makes this a very enticing play. Smythe has also successfully eclipsed the Underdog Fantasy line in four of the last five games.

Devonta Freeman (BAL) Under 9.5 Receiving Yards

While the Ravens’ passing attack has really started to take off in recent weeks, the running backs have rarely been involved. Even with Devonta Freeman earning the lion’s share of snaps among Baltimore RB stable, his impact as a pass-catcher has been slim to none. He played a season-high 58% of the team’s snaps last week but caught just two of three targets for a whopping four yards.

The Dolphins’ defense may be one of the worst in the NFL, but they don’t tend to get burned by running backs in the passing game. There are simply better ways to exploit them. The other factor behind this NFL DFS under prediction is the fact that Freeman could cede touches to Le’Veon Bell or Ty’Son Williams seemingly any week in what has been one of the more unpredictable backfields to decipher this season.

Underdog Fantasy is a new type of DFS that combines the fun of season-long drafts with daily fantasy sports. Aside from their fun, addictive draft mode, Underdog Fantasy also has pick’em player props for many different sports and athletes!
