Jaxon Smith-Njigba HIGHER 6.5 Receptions
The 2025-26 season has been Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s breakout year, as he currently stands as the receiving leader in the NFL. On top of that, Smith-Njigba stands as fourth in the league in receptions. It has become glaringly obvious that JSN is the go-to guy in the Seattle Seahawks offense. With Thursday’s game being played for the lead of the NFC West, as well as the top seed in the NFC, this is a must-win for both teams. That brings into the thought that when you are in a must-win game, you give the ball to your best player as much as possible. Especially on a short week, Seattle’s game plan will be simplified, which plays in favor of JSN seeing several targets in this game.
As I stated before, JSN is having his best season as a player in the NFL. Looking at this line, it seems like 6.5 receptions is way too low for a receiver of his capabilities. This line looks even a little more out of place when you realize that through 14 games, JSN has gone under this total just four times. That includes just once since Week 10. In the Week 11 matchup between these two teams, JSN finished the game with 105 yards on nine receptions. That number should be consistent this week as Seattle needs to do what they do best, and that is give the ball to JSN as much as possible.
Colby Parkinson HIGHER 39.5 Receiving Yards
Since Week 10, Colby Parkinson has been a revelation for the Los Angeles Rams offense. Behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, Parkinson has been the next biggest benefactor of Matt Stafford’s MVP-level season. We know that Sean McVay wants to run the football, and while on the surface level, that does not seem like it plays in favor of Parkinson, but breaking it down, it looks great. The Rams have been dominating with multiple tight end formations of offense this season. Given his skills as both a run blocker and a receiver, Parkinson will be on the field for a majority of snaps, which plays in favor of taking the higher on 39.5 receiving yards. He can clear this NFL DFS projection on four receptions tonight.
What also plays in favor of Parkinson going higher than 39.5 receiving yards is the injury to Davante Adams. The star WR being listed as doubtful opens up a big hole in this Rams’ passing game. This season, Adams has seen about 8-12 targets per game. With 10 targets available this week, one has to believe that Parkinson will be at the top of the list to bring those in. With Adams leaving the game last week, Parkinson finished with 75 yards on seven receptions. Given Seattle’s strong pass rush and success on outside receivers, Parkinson goes over his receiving yards prop this week.
Ernest Jones HIGHER 8.5 Tackles + Assists
It is always fun to talk about revenge games in the NFL. Usually, that comes by way of a quarterback or a receiver, but in this game, it is on the defensive side of the ball for the Seahawks. Ernest Jones, who is playing as one of the better inside linebackers this season, gets another shot at playing the Los Angeles Rams where he started his career. After being drafted in 2021, Jones was traded just three years later for two late-round picks. That has to put a chip on Jones’ shoulder, especially in a game that means so much for playoff seeding. Either way, Jones has been playing really good football for the Seahawks this season.
Jones has gone higher than this line in each of the last three games. I fully expect that to continue, as without Davante Adams, the Rams should be more reliant on using tight ends over the middle of the field, right where Jones resides. As I stated before, too, we know the Rams want to run the ball, so Jones will be very active in the run game. Jones is fast and physical enough to play all over the field, and given the Rams’ reliance on the zone-run and short pass game, he will be near the ball on almost every Rams play this week.
