FlurrySports gives the best Underdog Fantasy NFL DFS picks for the Bills vs Broncos NFL Playoffs Divisional Round game, including RJ Harvey.
The Divisional Round of the 2026 NFL Playoff bracket will kick off on Saturday at Mile High, as the Buffalo Bills take on the Denver Broncos. While the Broncos haven’t dominated in games, they won enough to earn a first-round bye before facing the reigning MVP in Josh Allen. Will the rest be what they needed, or will they come out sluggish? The dynamics in this game are quite interesting, making it a fun one for NFL DFS picks.

Underdog Fantasy NFL DFS Picks: Bills vs Broncos NFL Playoffs
Let me lay the groundwork for this matchup for the Buffalo Bills’ passing attack. The Denver Broncos have not faced many competent passing attacks lately. So, while they are a great defense, facing the Chargers without Justin Herbert, the Chiefs without Patrick Mahomes, and the Raiders over the final five weeks will boost your stats. Instead, we should look to matchups against the Jaguars and Packers to get a better idea of what they are. In those two games, Denver allowed 555 passing yards and 60 total points.
Along with the matchup overall, the Bills will also be without wide receivers Joshua Palmer, Gabe Davis and Tyrell Shavers. This, combined with matchup stats that are skewed because of the bad teams the Broncos have faced, means we have a lot of value in Buffalo’s passing game. Now, let’s get into the Underdog Fantasy NFL DFS picks for this Bills vs Broncos game!
Khalil Shakir HIGHER 5.5 Receptions
Not only is Khalil Shakir by far the best wide receiver on the Bills, but he primarily operates out of the slot as well. While I do think you can pass on the Broncos a bit more than advertised, I would avoid Pat Surtain II on the outside. In the slot, Shakir should mostly match up against Ja’Quan McMillian. The Broncos’ slot corner allowed 41 yards and a touchdown against the Jaguars, and he allowed 57 yards to the Packers. He is not a bad player, but he has been picked on near the line of scrimmage a bit, and that’s where Shakir will operate.
Whether it be targets, receptions or yards, I like going “higher” for all of them with Khalil Shakir. Hell, you could move the projection down for all of them, then play them all on the same NFL DFS pick, as long as you have a player on another team as well. For our official recommendation, it will be Shakir to get at least six receptions. When the Bills need a first down or a catch to get something going, Josh Allen calls Shakir’s number. He caught 12 passes in a close, must-win game last week. We could see him easily clear this Underdog Fantasy projection again on Saturday.
Curtis Samuel HIGHER 0.5 Receiving Yards
I mentioned the three wide receivers who are out for the Bills in this game. On top of that, the Bills have activated Frank Gore Jr. from the practice squad. This likely means Ty Johnson, a talented pass-catching running back, will be inactive once again. The Bills need ways to get the ball out quickly in this game. Throwing to Khalil Shakir will be the most effective, but they will pass it to Curtis Samuel out of the slot, who they also activated.
Samuel has really taken a step backwards in terms of role this season. He has played in just six games, and he played 50% of the offensive snaps in only one game. However, despite playing so few of the snaps, he has at least one catch in all but one game. Offensive coordinator Joe Brady coached Curtis Samuel in Carolina and is a big reason why he is in Buffalo now. He really likes him as a player, and he will get him on the field and involved once again.
RJ Harvey HIGHER 0.5 Rush + Rec TDs
There are other Bills I like, but we have to include another team to lock in an entry, so let’s project someone to find the end zone. Clearly, no Bronco is more likely to find pay dirt than rookie running back RJ Harvey.
Despite not being in the conversation for Rookie of the Year, apparently, RJ Harvey has had a terrific rookie season. He has scored a whopping 11 touchdowns over the past 11 games, finding the end zone in five of his past six games. Clearly, Denver feels plenty comfortable using him in the red zone. But on top of his own skills and opportunities in the Bronco offense, the matchup is as sweet as it gets.
The Bills have been flat-out bad against running backs this season. They have allowed 5.2 yards per carry, which is the second-most in the NFL. If that’s not bad enough, they allow 5.7 yards per carry in road games. Buffalo also allowed 18 rushing touchdowns to running backs in the regular season, which is the most in the NFL.
