While Christmas Day has now come and gone, there is still plenty of reason to be merry and full of cheer. The final Tuesday of the calendar year presents us with a nine-game NBA slate. With several teams in action throughout the evening, this naturally means that there are plenty of opportunities to make winning Underdog Fantasy NBA DFS picks.
Below, we highlight some of our favorite NBA DFS picks and player props on Underdog Fantasy for tonight’s games.
What is Underdog Fantasy?
In addition to live DFS drafts, Underdog Fantasy offers pick’em contests. In essence, making NBA DFS picks on Underdog combines daily fantasy sports and player props into one. A wide variety of player props exist for tonight’s nine-game NBA schedule. The more props a user combines, the greater their potential payout.
Unlike some other platforms in the market, Underdog Fantasy also allows users the flexibility to pick and choose which props they pair together. You can even combine DFS picks from multiple sports and games! When making Underdog Fantasy NBA picks, the only limitations are truly the user’s own imagination and creativity.

Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Payout
For the pick’em game format, users string player props together to form a parlay. If one pick is wrong, the entire NBA DFS parlay fails. However, cashing can give a very nice payout, with more picks meaning a higher multiplier.

Best Underdog Fantasy NBA DFS Picks for Tonight, 12/26
Much like betting odds move and update throughout the day, props at Underdog Fantasy also move. In other words, if there is a prop you like, make sure you place it quickly.
Daniel Gafford OVER 18.5 Points + Rebounds
On the season, Daniel Gafford is averaging 11.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Combined, these figures are equivalent to tonight’s points + rebounds NBA player props total of 18.5. However, the Washington Wizards’ center has been surpassing this line with regularity of late. Gafford has finished with at least 19 combined points and rebounds in seven of his last nine games played.
Tonight’s matchup against the stingy Orlando Magic defense is challenging on the surface. That said, Gafford compiled an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double when the Wizards played Orlando back on the first of the month. The fact that two statistical categories count towards this prop only adds to the intrigue of playing the Over.
Mike Conley OVER 10.5 Points
This may be his 18th year in the league, but Mike Conley has shown that he is more than capable of helping orchestrate the Minnesota Timberwolves’ offense. Lately, he has been successfully getting his too. Conley has scored at least 12 points in eight of his last ten games. He enters Tuesday’s matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder averaging 11.5 per game for the season.
As such, the Underdog Fantasy NBA picks line for Conley’s total points tonight sits a full tick lower than his scoring average. While OKC does boast a top-tier defensive rating, Conley doesn’t figure to be the primary focus for the Thunder defensively. With Anthony Edwards likely to garner the attention of Luguentz Dort, Conley could be in line for another solid offensive performance.
Jonas Valanciunas OVER 10.5 Rebounds
Anytime there’s any case to be made for taking the Over on a Jonas Valanciunas rebounding prop, you can count me in. As J-Val’s minutes have increased over the past month, so too has the predictability of his production on the glass. The New Orleans Pelicans’ center has finished with at least 11 boards in six of the last seven games and nine times in December.
While Valanciunas’ season-long rebounding average sits at 9.8, a more recent window is helpful here given the increase in playing time. In December, he is averaging north of 30 minutes per contest and has 11.5 rebounds per game to correspond with it. Add in the fact that the Memphis Grizzlies are a sub-par team when it comes to rebounding the basketball and we have a solid case for including the Over among our NBA DFS picks.
Jerami Grant OVER 2.0 Turnovers
Typically, playing the Over on NBA DFS picks is a handicap that a player will do something positive. Not in this case. Did you know that you can count on one hand the number of games in which Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant has finished with less than two turnovers? Well, now you do. Grant has committed a minimum of two giveaways in all but four contests this season.
Now, it is worth noting that Grant is only averaging 2.3 giveaways per game. That said, a push on the Underdog Fantasy line of 2.0 turnovers would seem to be the worst possible outcome here. Oh and Grant stumbled his way into four turnovers the first time the Blazers matched up with the Sacramento Kings this season.
Terry Rozier UNDER 3.5 Rebounds
Terry Rozier and the Charlotte Hornets will have a tough task awaiting them tonight in a matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. This game figures to be difficult in more ways than one, including on the glass where the Hornets rank just 25th as a team in rebounding percentage. As an individual, Rozier is averaging 3.7 rebounds per game this season.
Although Rozier’s per-game average sits slightly above the Underdog Fantasy NBA DFS line of 3.5, it’s tough to envision him easily corraling more than three boards tonight. He has only achieved this four times in nine December games to date. Three of those instances came against other poor rebounding teams. The Clippers certainly have the bodies to keep Charlotte’s point guards off the glass.
