Teven Jenkins Draft Profile
Strengths
Jenkins is incredibly strong and aggressive, finishing blocks and plays with both. If he gets his hands on a defender, it’s over for them, and the play often ends with them on their backs or blown off the line of scrimmage. Jenkins has great hand technique and strength. When watching him play, it’s easy to compare his style to an offensive guard, but in an offensive tackle’s body.
Weaknesses
Often struggles to mirror defenders, due to average footwork. He doesn’t have much film against strong edge rushers, due to playing in the Big 12. Jenkins is a redshirt senior who is 23, making him one of the older prospects in the draft.
