2023 Super Bowl Odds Update

All 2022 Super Bowl odds have been taken from BetOnline Sportsbook.

Kansas City Chiefs (+300)

As said on the FlurrySports Podcast prior to the season, the Kansas City Chiefs are the top team in the AFC, and anyone doubting this team based on their offense struggling has no idea what they are talking about. The recent Super Bowl odds update continues to have the Chiefs as the favorite to win it all, and they clearly have the offensive firepower and health to get the job done. The worry for them is that the Bengals seem to have their number. However, the Chiefs clearly have the Bills’ number in the playoffs, and that is the likely matchup they will run into.

Buffalo Bills (+350)

The Buffalo Bills struggled to put away the Miami Dolphins, letting them back into the game last week. It feels like Josh Allen is at his worst when playing with a cushion, but he does tighten things up in close games, allowing the Bills to pull out games. We said last week that the Buffalo Bills’ Super Bowl odds were a bit inflated, and we still feel this way, but they are certainly the team of destiny this season.

San Francisco 49ers (+385)

To win in the postseason, a team must be able to run the ball, stop the run and force turnovers. The San Francisco 49ers are great in all of these areas, making them a team that is built to win a Super Bowl. Brock Purdy looked bad during the Wild Card Round, but the 49ers outmatched the Seahawks in talent enough that it didn’t matter. However, facing Dallas this weekend, Purdy will need to be sharper in order to not suffer an upset.

Philadelphia Eagles (+550)

The top overall seed in the NFC is not coming into the NFL Playoffs with the momentum they had hoped for, but the bye week was useful in getting healthier. The defense has been inconsistent, Lane Johnson has an injured groin and Jalen Hurts showed a fair amount of rust in his return to action. However, if the Philadelphia Eagles can get back in a groove, this is a team that will be very dangerous, making the Eagles’ Super Bowl odds a great value.

Cincinnati Bengals (+750)

The Cincinnati Bengals suffered yet another injury on the offensive line. Even if Jonah Williams plays, slowing him down is bad news for this offensive front. Still, the Bengals are somehow the only team where a terrible offensive line isn’t a death sentence, which gives them hope heading into the Divisional Round matchup against the Bills.

Dallas Cowboys (+1000)

The Dallas Cowboys are a tough team to project. Dak Prescott is not a great quarterback, and he will certainly give opponents extra possessions if they wish to capitalize on them. However, Dallas does have talented offensive playmakers and the defense has plenty of playmakers as well. If they can play with a lead, like they did last week, and let the defense play fast and aggressively, they can defeat anybody. However, it’s clear the Cowboys can also lose to anyone, which makes them a difficult team to bet on for the long term.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+2800)

From the first overall draft pick to one of the hottest teams entering the NFL Playoffs, the Jacksonville Jaguars completed a comeback against a team that is known for allowing comebacks. Doug Pederson will have to do his best coaching job to defeat his former boss Andy Reid. While talented, the inexperience and youth of the Jaguars feel like it will cost them this weekend. This team has a bright future, however.

New York Giants (+2800)

Do not count out the New York Giants. While the defense is not the most talented, especially in the secondary, they are incredibly coached. The offense is well-coached and has found enough playmakers to make it run. Of course, they are led by Daniel Jones, who may have been the most impressive quarterback during the first round of the NFL Playoffs. While betting on them to win the Super Bowl seems like an unlikely bet, they may have another upset in them, which is why the Super Bowl odds update has the Giants spiking in the odds.
