Since Mason Rudolph took over as the starting quarterback, Najee Harris has consistently seen 19 rushing attempts in three games. Despite the Bills not allowing a running back to carry the ball more than 16 times since Week 10, the weather conditions are likely to lead to a higher volume of carries for Harris in this matchup.
Elandon Roberts has a grand total of one assisted tackle in his last three games. He also has been held to under two assisted tackles in his last three road games.
Josh Allen‘s use of his legs has been evident, especially in the last two home games where he fell short of 170 passing yards. The Steelers’ defense has also held quarterbacks to under 215 passing yards in two of their last three road games.
Under new offensive coordinator Joe Brady, James Cook has excelled in home games, averaging 19.3 rushing attempts in three such games and seeing 16 or more rushing attempts in all three home games. The Steelers are more likely to see a heavier run game with no TJ Watt and allowing running backs 16 or more rushing attempts in three of their last six games, which creates a favorable stat line for Cook.
Jordan Poyer has hit this threshold in three of his last four games, including back-to-back home games.
