It’s time for young rugby players to show their potential on the big stage as the annual historical competition, U-20 Six Nations, is all set to kick off on February 3, 2023, where some of the best European teams will face each other in the round-robin format. Moreover, 27 players out of 34 developed their skills in Scotland, while seven came through the Qualified Scottish system and qualified to play for the team after meeting the eligibility criteria.

2023 Rugby U20 Six Nations Championship Format:
Regarding the U-20 championship, matches will be played on Fridays (except the final round, set to place on Sunday, March 19), in the round-robin format, with each team to face each other once and then accumulate the points to select the champion.
Points Distribution:
- The winning team will get four points or five (if the team scores four or more tries).
- The losing side won’t get any points or one point (if the team scores four or more tries by a margin of seven or fewer points) or two points (if the team scores four or more tries and loses by a margin of seven or fewer points).
- Each drawing team will get two points, and the team scoring four or more tries will get one extra point.
- A team that wins all of its five games (Grand Slam) will get three extra points.
