Rondale Moore Highlights

Rondale Moore Draft Profile

Strengths

Among the most exciting prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft class, Rondale Moore has the explosiveness to change the trajectory of an entire game on any touch. He burst onto the scene as a true freshman in 2018 when he lit up Ohio State in the national spotlight. Moore has a wide range of skills and really could present problems for opposing defenses in any number of roles. His playing style is likened to a running back when he has the football and plays with strength that exceeds his size. He has quick and smooth acceleration into cuts and possesses the ability to throw coverage off balance when working his routes.

Weaknesses

Moore may be super talented and have game-changing potential, but the number of games he was able to change while at Purdue was limited drastically by injuries. In fact, Moore only played in seven games total over the last two seasons. If healthy, he could be a tremendous find in the early second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. But injuries are as much a red flag for Moore as they are any other member of this year’s class. In addition to his lack of game experience, other concerns include a reduced catch radius and a level of strength that can be overpowered by stronger defensive backs.
