Roger McCreary Draft Profile

Strengths

One of the biggest positives about Roger McCreary is his ability to be irritating and tough to beat in press coverage. He matched up well against Alabama this past season thanks in part to his ability to give little separation and not bite on release moves. McCreary is good at jumping in on routes to break up the pass and will be a nuisance to even the toughest of receivers.

Weaknesses

McCreary was a solid player in college but a decent amount of that was thanks to his size not coming into play yet. Roger McCreary is on the smaller side, which will make it tough for him to win jump balls against taller NFL receivers. He also lacks the top-end speed to stay with burners, which will limit him at the next level. McCreary also takes longer than most at accelerating to get up to sprint speed on deep routes.
