Rodney Hood is staying in Portland for the next two years after agreeing to a $16 million deal with the team.
Free agent F Rodney Hood has agreed to a two-year, $16M deal to return to the Portland Trail Blazers, CAA agents Ty Sullivan and Austin Brown tell ESPN. Deal includes a player option.

Hood provided valuable scoring off the bench for the Blazers, powering them to their first Western Conference Finals appearance since 2000. The Blazers traded for Kent Bazemore earlier this month. Now with Hood coming back and possibly Seth Curry leaving, there’s a log jam at the backup shooting guard position.
