One of the best things you can say about Ricky Pearsall is that he is a dependable slot receiver. He’s a great route-runner who is quick off of the line of scrimmage. Pearsall has soft hands, but he also fights for the ball. He can make adjustments on the fly and still make plays. Pearsall also has the intelligence to fight the soft spots in the zone.
Weaknesses
Pearsall doesn’t have the amazing athleticism or massive catch radius of other receivers. He’s also not fast or quick enough where he will win every matchup on his own, but he can still be a solid tool for a great play designer.
