The 13th event of the 2023 PBR’s ‘Unleash the Beast’ event is all set to take place at Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, this weekend; 25th & 26th February 2023. The top 35 bull riders and most ferocious bulls, leaving fans breathless with pulse pumping with adrenaline, will be showing their skills in this entertaining show.

Rafael Jose de Brito will be coming to this event after winning his first career PBR event in Eugene, Oregon where he didn’t just catapult 137.5 points up the standings for the No. 5 spot, but also surpassed Daniel Keeping to get the No. 1 spot in the 2023 Rookie of the Year race.
Field of riders this season features few known faces who are all set to return to the lineup or to make their 2023 Unleash The Beast debut after getting some reps on the Pendleton, including Texas Rattlers standout Cody Jesus, Mason Moody, Elizmar Jeremias and Griffin Smeltzer,
2023 Professional Bull Riders Socal Showdown Preview:
Talking about the players, Texas Rattler started the event with an 87-point ride at Reba McEntire’s The Hammer before securing a spot in the championship round with an 88-point ride on All Shook Up.
He then took a chance and selected Black Gold as his final dance partner, an animal had never allowed any opponent to ride more than six seconds in his 13 career outs but Brito lasted the 8 to record a career-high 91-point ride and secured his first ‘Unleash The Beast buckle’. In PBR SoCal Showdown, he will match up against Ho-Pac in Round 1.
Meanwhile, Leme maintained his position at the top for the third consecutive week. He went with 1-for-2 this weekend where he rode Chiseled for 88.25 points in Round 1 before suffering an injury in Round 2 while being bucked off by Punchy Pete.
That said, he was unable to compete in the championship round. Thus, he finished 12th, extending to 662 points in the Unleash The Beast Standings, 115.5 points more than No. 2 Andrew Alvidrez.
Who Is Jose Vitor?
Leme will be looking forward to resuming his usual Top 10 standing this weekend, starting with a showdown against Sock Monkey in Round one.
Talking more about the players, some names such as Eduardo Aparecido, Mason Taylor, Eli Vastbinder, Brady Oleson, Derek Kolbaba, Bob Mitchell, Colten Fritzlan, Thiago Salgado, Chase Wimer, Marcus Mast, won’t be present due to different injuries or other reasons.
