The fight was initially supposed to take place on February 9 but got delayed after Pascal tested positive for Covid-19. The anticipated fight is paramount as the winner will claim the chance to fight against IBF title holder Artur Beterbiev.

Fight Preview
Two-time gold medalist Jean Pascal (36-6-1) turned pro in 2005. His last fight took place last year in May when he beat Fanlong Meng, and he is entering the battle with a three-fight win streak.
On the other hand, Eifert (11-1) turned pro in 2018, and last fought against Adriano Sperandio in July 2022 and won unanimously. With that win, he will enter the ring with a five-fight winning streak and would like to continue this.
