Projected Win Total

The Raiders’ over/under currently sits at 6.5, after they went 4-12 last season. This offense is almost completely different from last season, with Derek Carr being the only notable returning starter. These new playmakers for Jon Gruden are expected to elevate the level of play from this team.

Passing Game

The addition of Antonio Brown was among the biggest stories from the NFL offseason. As one of the most elite playmakers in the league, Brown gives Derek Carr an elite go-to option anywhere on the field. Brown is currently going as WR7 in PPR leagues, while Carr is being drafted as QB24. Tyrell Williams was another big addition to this offense at the receiving position. Williams will have a similar role on the Raiders as he did on the Chargers, which is to stretch the defense out with his big play ability. While he will have big weeks, he could be unpredictable, which is why he is going as WR54. Luke Willson comes over from Detroit, and this is an offense that uses the tight end a lot. Willson is currently undrafted and could be a sleeper at the position.

Running Game

RB: Josh Jacobs, Jalen Richard, Doug Martin
2018 OL Run Rank: 13th

The rookie Josh Jacobs is supposed to be the lead back in a running back-friendly offense. Hell, both Doug Martin and Marshawn Lynch averaged 4.2 yards per rush last season. Jacobs is more talented than both and the line should be better. The issue is his contract, which he has not yet signed. Jacobs could hold out to start training camp, which makes for a good story on Hard Knocks, but not for fantasy. He is currently being drafted as RB17, but if he is not able to go, the lead back in this offense will have RB2 value.
