If you are unaware of what NFL survivor picks are, the basic concept is you make NFL picks throughout the season, but you can only pick a team once. Once you lose, you’re knocked out, so choose your Week 15 NFL Survivor Pool picks wisely.
If you are new to reading my survivor articles, what I do is outline my “lock of the week,” my “value of the week” and my “high-risk, high-reward pick of the week.”
The lock of the week details what team I think has the best chance of winning their matchup. This would most likely be a good team that plays a bad team. The lock is also the official pick for NFL Survivor Pools, meaning we will not reuse a “lock.” My value pick of the week details a mid-tier team that has a good matchup. And finally, my high-risk, high-reward pick details a bad team that has a good matchup. It may be worth it to look at the NFL betting odds for these games and place some bets as well.

Baltimore Ravens vs New York Giants
This week, the Baltimore Ravens take on the New York Giants in a game where Lamar Jackson and company are favored by two touchdowns. This comes on a week after the Ravens took their bye, so I am fairly confident that Baltimore is rested and ready to make a push for the playoffs.
With the Ravens only two games up in the playoffs, it feels like Baltimore has to win at least two more games to really solidify their spot. Luckily for them, they take on the Giants, who are one of the worst teams in the NFL this season. This is the ultimate “don’t overthink it” game. If you are still alive in your NFL survivor pool and have the Ravens available, you have to take them here to survive one more week.
I am not scared about the Giants’ front seven whatsoever, as they have been very bad in the second half of the season. The Ravens should easily be able to run the ball in this game, and when Baltimore gets the run game going, they are next to unstoppable.

Washington Commanders vs. New Orleans Saints
Much like the Baltimore Ravens, the Washington Commanders are coming off of a bye with a matchup against a much inferior opponent. Washington opens the week as 7.5-point favorites over the Saints. If you are asking me, that number is still too low. The Commanders should be well-rested and Jayden Daniels has the first chance to sit back and clear his mind since before the start of the college football season last year.
I love the Commanders in this game because the Saints are down Derek Carr. That means that Jake Haener is getting the start this week. It is really hard to believe that Haener can put together a good enough game to beat a team that is fighting for the playoffs. I think this is a game where Washington can really get behind Brian Robinson, Daniels and the rest of the run game. The Saints are 25th in rushing yards given up this season, with a total of 16 rushing touchdowns given up. With Washington fighting hard for a playoff spot, every win matters at this point.
In an indoors game, if that Commanders run game gets going, I think this is a really easy win for Washington.

New York Jets vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
This is a really weird game in my mind because the Jacksonville Jaguars are obviously a really bad football team. The Jets, on the other hand, are not a great football team but are actually a couple of made field goals away from making a little bit of noise this season.
The Jaguars are rolling with Mac Jones at quarterback. Against the Jets defense, which has not been great this season but is still a good unit, this should spell for a big day for New York. It really looked like Aaron Rodgers and the receivers have found a little bit of rhythm lately, especially Davante Adams. Now, the Jets have nothing to play for here, but if I know anything about Rodgers, it is that he is going to give his all in every game that he plays.
The Jaguars have given up 3,602 passing yards this season, which ranks 31st in the NFL. With Rodgers throwing over 300 yards last week against a solid Dolphins defense, I think that this is a really good opportunity for a feel-good game for New York. Now, if the Jets do lose to the Jaguars, you have to clean house and reset the entire franchise.
