If you are unaware of what NFL survivor picks are, the basic concept is you make NFL picks throughout the season, but you can only pick a team once. Once you lose, you’re knocked out, so choose your Week 10 NFL Survivor Pool picks wisely.
If you are new to reading my survivor articles, what I do is outline my “lock of the week,” my “value of the week” and my “high-risk, high-reward pick.”
The lock of the week details what team I think has the best chance of winning their matchup. This would most likely be a good team that plays a bad team. The lock is also the official pick for NFL Survivor Pools, meaning we will not reuse a “lock.” My value pick of the week details a mid-tier team that has a good matchup. And finally, my high-risk, high-reward pick details a bad team that has a good matchup.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers
Believe it or not, the Green Bay Packers are not very good. Yes, they have Aaron Rodgers, but outside of that, there is nothing on this team that scares you. Especially with Rashan Gary being out for the year, Eric Stokes being out for a while and Romeo Doubs out for multiple weeks. The Packers are coming apart at the seams and what better matchup to continue that than the Dallas Cowboys.
Mike McCarthy is back in Green Bay. In his career, McCarthy is 11-4 coming off of a bye, with a 2-0 record with the Cowboys. Dallas also has one of the best defenses in the NFL, giving up just 16.6 points per game. On the flip side, Green Bay is scoring just 17.1 points per game. Micah Parsons is a monster who should be able to stifle Green Bay, whether he is coming off of the edge or playing in coverage. On the offensive side of the ball, the Cowboys should have no problem getting their running backs going and setting up Ceedee Lamb for success.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers
This is a rematch from the matchup a couple of weeks ago, where the Atlanta Falcons won in overtime, 37-34. Expect fewer points this time around, with Hurricane Nicole doing her thing. Expect rain and wind on Thursday Night Football tonight, which sets up the running game.
This is terrible news for the Carolina Panthers, who are coming off a game where they allowed Joe Mixon to score five touchdowns. The Falcons’ running scheme is one of the best in the NFL, and it will lead them to victory in this NFC South matchup.

Denver Broncos vs. Tennessee Titans
The Denver Broncos have shown absolutely nothing to be optimistic about this season, but following their bye week, they have a great opportunity to begin the second half of the season with a win. While the Chiefs didn’t get the memo last week, all Denver really has to do is stop Derrick Henry. While this is easier said than done, it’s tough to trust a team whose success relies on one player, especially when it’s a non-quarterback.
On the other side, the Denver offense has not been on the same page. The bye week can only mean good things for this, and the Titans’ secondary can absolutely be exposed by the Broncos’ receivers. As long as Russell Wilson throws it to the open players, this game is a coin flip that can certainly fall the Broncos’ way.
