Heading into Week 15 of the NFL season, we have many teams out of contention. Players are starting to plan their vacations, counting down the days until their offseason begins. Hell, we even had Tee Higgins on Monday Night Football saying he would switch positions to kicker because they don’t practice. Laziness is starting to kick in, and it will have an impact on our NFL Power Rankings.
Our weekly NFL Power Rankings will be released here on FlurrySports every Tuesday, so make sure to check them out every single week to see which direction your team is trending. As always, these power rankings factor in both how a team is playing right now as well and their actual ability to win a Super Bowl. This seems to be hard to comprehend for some, but I believe you can do it.

NFL Power Rankings For Week 15
1) Detroit Lions (Last Week: 1)
Thanks to a gutsy fourth-down call gone wrong, the Detroit Lions’ victory over the Green Bay Packers appeared closer than it actually was. This was yet another important game that the Lions dominated, helping them keep the top spot for our Week 15 NFL Power Rankings. Now, Detroit is coming off a few extra days of rest to face the Buffalo Bills in a measuring stick game for both teams.
2) Kansas City Chiefs (2)
Sometimes a person is born lucky and other times you have to work hard enough to create your own luck. The Kansas City Chiefs have both going for them, and it’s why they continue to win one-score games. This is a very good football team that is finding ways to win. If they can put it together over the next month, they will be the best team in football once again.
3) Philadelphia Eagles (3)
The Philadelphia Eagles secure another win and Saquon Barkley continues to play like an MVP candidate. Still, there are angry fans. This week, we also have some team drama, with the passing game under much scrutiny thanks to a comment from AJ Brown. Expect him to have a big Week 15, and the Eagles will remain near the top of the NFL Power Rankings.
4) Pittsburgh Steelers (4)
The Pittsburgh Steelers got their revenge against the Cleveland Browns, finding a way to put up 27 points despite missing George Pickens. We know the defense is elite. With this offense finding success in a variety of ways, the Steelers are among the league’s top contenders and should be treated as such.
5) Baltimore Ravens (6)
The Baltimore Ravens had a much-needed bye week in Week 14. We will see if they can put it together, and make kicks, down the stretch.
6) Buffalo Bills (5)
The Buffalo Bills continue to be soft in the middle of their defense, and this week they also struggled to defend the pass. Then, a bone-headed play-call on the late in the game ensured they would lose. As stated all year long right here, the Bills are a talented team that will lose when it matters most. Nothing about last week changed my thoughts. This week, they will need to be much better defending the run, as they play Detroit.
7) Minnesota Vikings (7)
Sam Darnold carved up an Atlanta Falcons defense that has been terrible against the pass. While it wasn’t surprising, it’s nice to know Darnold is capable of winning the matchups he should. Given the firepower on this offense and the aggressive defensive scheme, Minnesota will not be an easy matchup for anyone.
8) Los Angeles Chargers (8)
Football is a game of inches, and the Los Angeles Chargers were possibly one inch on a kick away from beating the Chiefs. On top of that, the Chargers came close to winning while having nearly no playmakers on offense. This is a very good football team. As stated seemingly every week, they are a season away from being contenders, but watch out for the new Chargers.
9) Green Bay Packers (9)
The Green Bay Packers lost another game against a good team. Green Bay continues to beat the teams they should and lose against the true competition. And again, Jordan Love seemed to hurt this team more than help it. This week is a very interesting, and important, game against the NFC West-leading Seattle Seahawks. We should find out a lot about both teams in that game.
10) Washington Commanders (10)
The Washington Commanders enjoyed their bye week. Now, we will see if they can finish the season strong and grab one of the last playoff spots in the NFC.
