We are now at the time of the season when the contenders need to start playing a bit more polished to solidify they can go on a run and win this thing. Post-Thanksgiving football is when the true contenders separate themselves from the pretenders, so expect plenty of movement in the NFL Power Rankings over the next few weeks.
Our weekly NFL Power Rankings will be released here on FlurrySports every Tuesday, so make sure to check them out every single week to see which direction your team is trending. As always, these power rankings factor in both how a team is playing right now as well and their actual ability to win a Super Bowl. This seems to be hard to comprehend for some, but I believe you can do it.
NFL Power Rankings For Week 14
1) Detroit Lions (Last Week: 1)
After a close divisional win, thanks to Caleb Williams and his new interim head coach deciding to lose the game, the Detroit Lions stay atop the NFC and the Week 14 NFL Power Rankings. The bad news is that injuries continue to stack up for the Detroit defense. They continue to play tough and the offense can outscore anyone. However, the Lions will really be tested down the stretch, including on Thursday against the Packers.
2) Kansas City Chiefs (2)
Another week, another game that is far too close for the Kansas City Chiefs. They got the two-point win over the Raiders, but what the hell? Anyone who writes off the Chiefs is a fool, as they should still be considered the Super Bowl favorites. However, this offensive line is still an issue in pass protection (still).
3) Philadelphia Eagles (3)
For my money, the Philadelphia Eagles are the best team in the league. Their defense can take over games, and the offense is loaded with weapons. However, this offense is too talented to not sustain drives. The Philly offense needs to be better on early downs and create more third and manageable situations. If they can improve in this area, then there isn’t much defense can do to stop them.
4) Pittsburgh Steelers (5)
Even though it was against the “new Chargers,” AKA the Cincinnati Bengals, it was still an impressive win for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The defense continues to be the strength of this team, but just the fact that this offense is capable of putting up over 40 points should scare everyone in the NFL.
5) Buffalo Bills (6)
The Buffalo Bills rise in the NFL Power Rankings after a win against a bad team. While it is the 49ers, we do need to point that out. Are the Bills a strong team? Absolutely! However, we have done this song and dance before. Bills Mafia, enjoy your regular season, because we know what this team is destined to do.

6) Baltimore Ravens (4)
The Baltimore Ravens’ biggest weakness as a team is the future Hall of Fame kicker Justin Tucker. It feels wrong, and it shouldn’t be true. However, it is. They have to stick with him, but there are no doubts this team would be top-three in the NFL Power Rankings if he didn’t miss eight field goals and two PATs this season.
7) Minnesota Vikings (7)
Someone on the Minnesota Vikings has a horseshoe shoved up their ass, and why do I think it’s CJ Ham? Stories I’ve heard about him aside, the Vikings pulled off a one-point win against another NFC team in the hunt for a Wild Card spot. At 10-2, the Vikings are sitting pretty for the playoffs, and they are a dangerous team once they get there. While Minnesota isn’t deep, their aggressive defense and weapons on offense make them a dangerous matchup for anyone.
8) Los Angeles Chargers (8)
Another week, another win for the Los Angeles Chargers. This team is fully bought in and playing terrific football. When big boy football comes around in January, they may not have enough to compete. But for now, the Chargers are doing more than competing — they’re winning. We’ll see how they fare against the reigning champs this week.
9) Green Bay Packers (9)
The Miami Dolphins looked as soft as could be on Thanksgiving in Green Bay. Mike McDaniels couldn’t get his play calls out he was shivering so badly. Regardless, this Packers team has realized the trend in the NFL is to play ground-and-pound football given the typical defensive personnel around the league. And with a tough run-blocking offensive line and thriving running back room, they are dominating on offense despite their quarterback.
10) Washington Commanders (13)
The Washington Commanders crack the top 10 of our NFL Power Rankings for the first time this season. Their defense is still not good, and I’m unsure why there’s a segment of NFL fans who feel otherwise, but this offense is the real deal. Jayden Daniels is playing as well as anyone, and Kliff Kingsbury is doing his best coaching job in his NFL career (though that’s not saying much).
