Last week featured an international game, bye weeks, and more terrible football being played around the entire league. It truly is becoming concerning. There are only a handful of teams that can consider themselves “pretty good,” which may be evident by the Week 10 NFL Power Rankings below.
The 32 teams below are ranked both on where they stand and where they are projected to go. This means that the injuries of today do play a major factor. The NFL is a short season and every loss matters.
With that being said, let’s jump into the Week 10 NFL Power Rankings!
NFL Power Rankings For Week 10
1) Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week: 1)
The Philadelphia Eagles were tested in their divisional game against the Dallas Cowboys. However, a strong third quarter and a considerable amount of luck gave Philly a slight edge in this one. Regardless, good teams are able to create their own luck, and the Eagles are clearly a good team. They are well-rounded, deep, and the top-ranked team once again in the Week 10 NFL Power Rankings.
2) Kansas City Chiefs (2)
The Kansas City Chiefs headed to Germany late in the week to face the Miami Dolphins, but it was them who started the game quickly. The Chiefs needed every bit of their 21-0 halftime lead, as they didn’t score the rest of the game. Kansas City showed us glimpses of how good this offense can be, but there were full quarters of mediocrity as well. Still, a win is a win, and the Chiefs should have things click sooner rather than later.
3) San Francisco 49ers (3)
The San Francisco 49ers had a bye last week.
4) Baltimore Ravens (5)
The Baltimore Ravens continue to prove that they are one of the best teams in the NFL. They were also one of the rare teams this season to play a backup quarterback not because of an injury, but because they were up by so many points against the Seattle Seahawks. Lamar Jackson is playing as well as anyone at the quarterback position, their offensive line is solid, and the defense has playmakers all over. If this is the season they stay healthy, watch out for the Baltimore Ravens.
5) Jacksonville Jaguars (6)
The Jacksonville Jaguars had a bye last week.

6) Miami Dolphins (4)
The Miami Dolphins went over to Germany early to settle in before taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. It clearly didn’t work, since the Dolphins had a scoreless first half. While they finished strong, Miami has rarely put together four full quarters, and they have also struggled against good teams. In fact, this loss marked the sixth straight loss to a team with a winning record. Needless to say, the Dolphins continue to delegitimize themselves.
7) Detroit Lions (7)
The Detroit Lions had a bye last week.
8) Dallas Cowboys (8)
The Dallas Cowboys were inches away from scoring more points on multiple occasions in their game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It truly felt like they lost due to being unlucky, but Dallas should come away from this game feeling like they can compete with absolutely anyone. The offensive line still needs to come together and win more often at the point of attack. However, this is still a talented, well-rounded team that shouldn’t be overlooked.
9) Cincinnati Bengals (11)
The Cincinnati Bengals are getting their swag back. Joe Burrow looks fully healthy, and the offense is thriving as a result. Defensively, this group is underrated once again. They play as well as anyone, but they don’t have many big names. Due to the strength of the AFC North, the Bengals don’t have much wiggle room, but they do look like a team that has the potential to go on a run.
10) Buffalo Bills (9)
The Buffalo Bills are extremely talented, and they added even more talent at the NFL Trade Deadline. However, this team doesn’t look focused and they seem to have lost their confidence. This starts with Josh Allen, who seems to make just as many mistakes as good plays. This Bills team needs something to rally around in order to re-energize and re-focus them as a whole. If not, they will fall out of the top 10 of this NFL Power Rankings next week.
