With both #1 seeds knocked out of the NFL Playoffs, we have a very intriguing Conference Championship round this Sunday. The Bengals and Chiefs play at 3 PM while the Rams and 49ers will suit up at 6 PM. This article will outline the Conference Championship Round NFL DFS picks with core players at each position to hammer into your FanDuel lineups.

NFL DFS Picks for the Conference Championships

    Quarterbacks

    Joe Burrow ($7,500)

All aboard the Joe Burrow train, as it seems like I’m sitting here writing about him every weekend. With a game total currently sitting at 54.5 points, the Bengals-Chiefs game is the one for DFS players to target this week. At an even cheaper salary of $7,500, Joe Burrow is more than worth rostering in GPPs and cash games. The 49ers-Rams game could end up being a defensive showdown, so look to choose between Burrow and Mahomes. Pair Burrow with the usual suspects; Ja’Marr Chase ($8,000), Tee Higgins ($6,400), and Tyler Boyd ($5,800).

Other NFL DFS Picks: Patrick Mahomes ($8,800)

    Running Backs

    Eli Mitchell ($7,000)

Eli Mitchell is a rare running back with a consistent role, seeing 20+ carries in 6 of his last 7 games. The 49ers are a team that loves to run the ball and control the clock, which they’ll look to do against the Rams this Sunday. While the matchup is questionable, he is one of the few players I like from the 49ers-Rams game. Keep an eye on Trent Williams’ injury status, as his absence could cause Mitchell’s outlook to take a hit.

    Jerrick McKinnon ($6,200) & Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($5,700)

Aside from Eli Mitchell and Joe Mixon, the running back pool for the week gets a little messy. The Chiefs backfield could see an even timeshare with both Jerrick McKinnon and Clyde Edwards-Helaire getting involved. While McKinnon started and played a majority of snaps in the Divisional Round, Edwards-Helaire efficiently turned his 8 touches into 69 yards. While McKinnon was outplayed, it is clear that he’s the preferred receiving back in this offense. It’s tough to predict which one Reid will use more so look to own shares of both players this weekend.

Other NFL DFS Picks: Joe Mixon ($8,200), Cam Akers ($6,200)

    Wide Receivers

    Tyreek Hill ($8,100)

As long as Patrick Mahomes continues to play at an elite level, Tyreek Hill will continue to benefit. Hill had a big day against the Bills’ #1 ranked pass defense, lighting them up for 150 yards and a touchdown. The Bengals allow the sixth-most receiving yards per game so look for Hill to have another ceiling game. He leads the Chiefs with a 22.8% target share in the playoffs so he’s the priority play. With the shootout potential of this matchup, I will not be fading Hill in this game.

    Tee Higgins ($6,400)

While Ja’Marr Chase is a strong DFS option once again, Tee Higgins pops out to me as an elite value play. Higgins boasts a 23.3% target share, just slightly lower than Chase’s 24.2% mark. We also know that Higgins has the over-the-top ceiling that we search for in GPPs. With this Bengals-Chiefs game, you can’t count out either receiver, as both have a high chance of returning on value. Make sure you have shares of both players going into this Sunday.

    Odell Beckham Jr. ($6,300)

Odell Beckham Jr. is the Rams receiver that most appeal to me with Cooper Kupp’s sky-high salary. With slow pace concerns in the NFC Championship Game, I don’t feel comfortable investing in Cooper Kupp’s salary. On the other hand, Beckham Jr. can provide sufficient exposure to this game at $3,400 cheaper. With the 49ers’ mediocre group of outside corners, he’ll be in an advantageous matchup.

Other NFL DFS Picks: Ja’Marr Chase ($8,000), Byron Pringle ($5,700), Brandon Aiyuk ($5,600)

    Tight Ends

    Travis Kelce ($7,700)

As the lone tight end above $6,000, Travis Kelce dominates the projections at his position. After catching the game-winning touchdown last weekend, he’s now caught a touchdown in 5 straight games. As I’ve stressed before, you’re going to want to load up on Chiefs pass catchers, and that starts with Hill and Kelce. Do what you need to do to one or both of these guys into your lineups.

Other NFL DFS Picks: George Kittle ($5,800)
