Amid the global Coronavirus pandemic, most sports have been postponed or cancelled altogether. Given this drought in sports coverage, NBC has decided to re-air many of its most iconic “Sunday Night Football” games, starting Monday, March 30th.

Football Week in America

Beginning Monday, we will have Football Week in America. This brings us daily showings of the most memorable NBC SNF games, including “record-breaking performances, unforgettable plays, timeless rivalries, an NFL Kickoff game pitting quarterbacking greats, and a Thanksgiving night game featuring Packers passing legends.”

Below is a daily schedule of the football action we will get to see, along with their blurb about each game. If you do not have NBC Sports Network (NBCSN), you will need to find a stream to it, because that’s where all of these games will be shown.

MONDAY, MARCH 30 – MANNING BOWL I & CLASSIC BRADY-MANNING

Football Week in America kicks off on Monday, March 30, with the first-ever NBC Sunday Night Football game as Peyton and Eli Manning faced off in the first ‘Manning Bowl’ on Kickoff Weekend in 2006. Next, Tom Brady and the Patriots overcome a 24-0 halftime deficit to defeat Peyton Manning and the Broncos in an overtime thriller in 2013.

FRIDAY, APRIL 3 – BREES, BRADY & MANNING

On Friday, NBCSN presents classic games of three generational quarterbacks: Brady, Manning and Drew Brees. First, Manning’s Colts top Brady’s Patriots in a climactic finish in 2009, as New England fails to convert on a late fourth-and-two in their own territory. Then, Brees faces his former team in 2012, and breaks Johnny Unitas’ record for consecutive games with a touchdown pass.

SATURDAY, APRIL 4 – LAST-SECOND VICTORIES

Saturday night brings a classic defensive battle between two division rivals, as Pittsburgh and Baltimore are both held to under 300 total yards. Behind a late Ben Roethlisberger touchdown pass and a final defensive stand, the Steelers go on to top the Ravens, 13-10. This matchup also featured five players who earned NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors: Baltimore’s Ray Lewis (twice), Ed Reed, and Terrell Suggs and Pittsburgh’s James Harrison and Troy Polamalu (who was the 2010 honoree).

Aaron Rodgers (312 pass yards, three touchdowns) and Drew Brees (419 yards, three touchdowns) duel in the 2011 season opener as Rodgers and the Packers defeat the Saints, 42-34, at Lambeau Field. On the final play of the game, Green Bay’s defense completes a goal line stand at their own one yard-line to halt New Orleans’ comeback bid.

SUNDAY, APRIL 5 – OBJ’S CATCH & MAHOMES-BRADY I

To cap off Football Week in America, NBCSN begins the night with Odell Beckham Jr.’s spectacular one-handed catch while falling into the end zone for a 43-yard touchdown against Dallas – despite being interfered with on the play. On the broadcast, Collinsworth exclaimed, “That might be the greatest catch I’ve ever seen! You have to be kidding me. That is absolutely impossible!”

Next, the first-ever matchup between eventual league MVP Patrick Mahomes and Brady ends with a last-second win by New England, securing Brady’s 200th victory as a starting quarterback.
