Following a successful end to the 2019-20 NBA season down in the Orlando bubble, the question has remained when the new season would start back up. We got some of out questions answered on Monday evening, with Adrian Wojnarowski announcing that NBA free agency would being on Friday, Nov. 20.
The NBA and NBPA have reached agreement on an amended CBA, sources tell @TimBontemps and me. Free agency begins at 6 PM on Nov. 20, with signings allowed at 12:01 PM on Nov. 22.

NBA Free Agency to Begin Soon
The announcement of NBA free agency beginning in just over a week has immediately created a lot of excitement, since there is not much time to wait. The free agency period will begin at 6 pm on the Friday, with signings allowed at 12:01 pm on Nov. 22nd.
Some of the more notable unrestricted free agents this season are Anthony Davis, Fred VanVleet, Montrezl Harrell and Goran Dragic.
NBA Salary Cap
There were many rumors of a salary cap reduction, as a result of the pandemic and cancelled games. Along with the announcement of NBA free agency came the announcement of the league’s updated salary cap. Many were surprised to see the cap set at $109.14M, which is the same as last season. It is expected to increase by two percent annually.
