As you can see, the stars singing the Super Bowl National Anthem have trended towards the long side in recent years. After all, you want to be on camera as much as possible during the biggest event of the year. We have seen eight of the past 11 performances last longer than two minutes. However, will Reba McEntire follow the same trend?

Reba McEntire National Anthem History

Unlike other singers who have done their thing during NFL games, Reba McEntire cruises through the National Anthem. As stated above, the Super Bowl National Anthem betting odds are projecting this year’s performance to be nearly 40 seconds shorter than last year. This is because the Reba McEntire National Anthem history suggests this will be the case.

In the 2017 Celebrity of Hope Softball game, McEntire’s performance lasted only 79 seconds, which is impressively fast. This is the most recent example we can find, but the stakes of this game are a bit less than the damn Super Bowl. For this reason, there is less of a reason for her to really go for it and stretch it out.

However, as you can see below, Reba McEntire sang the National Anthem for the 1997 World Series. This performance lasted 83 seconds, which is just under what the Super Bowl odds are for this year.
