After a wild Daytona 500, we have many more chances for you to win money on DraftKings. This week, the NASCAR Cup Series goes out west for a trip to Fontana, California for the Wise Power 400. Auto Club Speedway is your second chance to win some cash in the DraftKings NASCAR DFS world. Read below to find out who you should and shouldn’t have in your lineups.

DraftKings NASCAR DFS Overview

In this DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks column, I will be using DraftKings prices and scoring. Their scoring includes the following:

  • .25 points for leading a lap
  • .45 points for the fastest laps
  • Add/subtract a half point based on the difference in a driver’s finishing position relative to their starting position
  • Points based on where the driver finishes

DraftKings NASCAR DFS Picks | Race 2

Wise Power 400 Drivers to Consider

Kyle Larson ($11,600)

Kyle Larson swept this type of track a few seasons ago. Now he is back and has better equipment. Kyle Larson will run the high line to at least a top ten as long as he can keep all four tires pointed in the right direction. Larson is the most expensive driver this week, but he should still make it worth your while as long as the car holds up. Put the 5 car in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

Kyle Busch ($10,400)

Auto Club Speedway has become Kyle Busch’s playground. In his last nine races at the track (missed 2015 due to injury) he has three wins, seven top fives and eight top 10s. An average finish of 5.1 in those races. You can not make a mistake putting young Busch in your lineup with numbers like those. The 18 car should be in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

Erik Jones ($6,400)

You are going to need a guy who is on the cheaper end of the scale with taking those two up top. Why not take a chance on Erik Jones this week? Jones has an average finish of 12th here in his four races at Autoclub Speedway. Jones has a teammate to help him out this season to give him some advice on setups and whatnot. Jones could be a sneaky play this week in DraftKings NASCAR DFS.

Wise Power 400 Drivers to Avoid

Denny Hamlin ($10,700)

Denny Hamlin does not have the numbers to put him in your lineups. In his last nine races here (missed 2014 due to injury) he has one top-five and four top tens. An average finish of 15.4 makes this a tough play for your lineups. Skip the 11 car this week for your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

Brad Keselowski ($8,600)

The price is not bad for him, but the number of unknowns with that car makes me want to avoid him. Brad Keselowski has good numbers here, but he no longer has the great equipment as he had at Team Penske. Unless you are willing to gamble on the 6, steer clear of him in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

Kurt Busch ($8,800)

Kurt Busch was not going to be on this list until after inspection Friday night. Kurt Busch will not get to qualify so he will start last. Along with that, he will also have to do a pass-through penalty to start the race. Barring an early caution, he will go down a lap early and have a tough time getting back on the lead lap. Avoid the 45 in DraftKings NASCAR DFS.
