The NASCAR Cup Series has its final race before the summer Olympic break this Sunday. The Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is the last race before NASCAR takes a two-week break to help the drivers rest and relax. This week will be the final time that you can try and earn money playing FanDuel NASCAR DFS until the month of August. Read my help here if you really want that green.

FanDuel NASCAR DFS Overview

In this NASCAR Cup Series DFS column, we will be using FanDuel prices and scoring. Their scoring includes the following:

  • .1 points for leading a lap
  • .1 points for completing a lap
  • Add/subtract 0.5 points based on the difference in a driver’s finishing position relative to their starting position
  • Points based on where the driver finishes

Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 Drivers to Consider

Kevin Harvick ($11,300)

Kevin Harvick is surprisingly still looking for his first win of the 2021 season. The speed hasn’t been there for most of the season, but a return to New Hampshire could do the trick. Harvick has three wins in the past 10 races at the track and an average finish of 8th over that same span. He starts 12th, so he can earn some points on his way to the front. This could be one of the final chances Harvick has to get a win this season. He’s certainly going to be gunning for it. Put Harvick in your NASCAR DFS lineups.

Brad Keselowski ($11,500)

The winner of last year’s race, Brad Keselowski is on the good side of the list for NASCAR DFS this week. Besides that win that he earned here last year, he has an average finish of 9.6 here at the ‘Magic Mile’. After plans were released that have Brad Keselowski out of the No. 2 car going forward, he wants to go out on top with this team. Keselowski is going to give it his all from here on out.

Matt DiBenedetto ($8,000)

Another driver that doesn’t know where he is going to end up next season is Matt DiBenedetto. It was announced on Thursday that the No. 21 car would be going to Harrison Burton for 2022, leaving Matty D looking for a ride elsewhere. That should fuel DiBenedetto to try as hard as he can to earn another seat. A string of top-10s has me overlooking his average finish here, and I know he will continue his streak this week.

Alex Bowman ($10,000)

Alex Bowman had a strong run last week at Atlanta. He was able to gain 13 spots on his way to getting a fourth-place finish. Alex Bowman has won a race in every month since April (Richmond, Dover, Pocono) and this is his final chance to get a win in July. I don’t know if he will get that win this week, but Bowman should have another good run, and I don’t want to bet against that weird stat.

Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 Drivers to Avoid

Austin DIllon ($7,300)

Austin Dillon has been having a great year so far, but at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, he is not that good. He has only one top ten finish in the last ten races at the track. His average finish in those races is just 17th. He is pretty cheap, but even the cheap guys need to have some good finishes at the track. Avoid Dillon in your FanDuel NASCAR DFS lineups this week.

Chase Elliott ($12,000)

Mr. Fan Favorite does not have a good track history here at New Hampshire. In his seven career races at the track, he has an average finish of 16th. For a guy this expensive, I would prefer better numbers than this. Elliott’s third-place starting position doesn’t help matters either. Avoid him this Sunday.

Joey Logano ($10,800)

Joey Logano has had a roller-coaster NASCAR Cup Series season so far in 2021. He is up, then he is down, and right now he is on the downhill. He has finished outside the top-10 the last couple of weeks, and I think that that streak will continue. He starts 15th and has an average finish of 10th at New Hampshire. He could do well going off of his previous history, but going off of more recent history this year, he’s one to avoid.

Kurt Busch ($9,500)

The winner of last week’s race at Atlanta is on the avoid list this week. In the past ten races at New Hampshire, Kurt Busch has an average finish of 18th. He also starts fourth this weekend. Combine the two and they do not mesh well with each other when it comes to earning FanDuel NASCAR DFS points. Busch was great for DFS lineups last week, but this week he belongs on the bench.
