The final race of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season is here. On Sunday NASCAR will crown a champion, but before they do you have your last opportunity to win money on Draftkings NASCAR DFS. The NASCAR Cup Series Championship race will take place at the one-mile short track of Phoenix Raceway. If you could put just the Championship 4 drivers in your lineup that would be perfect. Unfortunately, you don’t have the cap space so you have to do your research. Read below for the DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks and advice for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship race on Sunday.

DraftKings NASCAR DFS Overview

In this DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks column, we will be using DraftKings prices and scoring. Their scoring includes the following:

  • .25 points for leading a lap
  • .45 points for the fastest laps
  • Add/subtract a half-point based on the difference in a driver’s finishing position relative to their starting position
  • Points based on where the driver finishes

NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race Drivers to Consider | DraftKings NASCAR DFS Picks

Any combination of two of the Championship 4

There is a reason they are here right? These are the best four drivers in the Cup Series this year and so they should be up there in the front toward the end of the race. There is a perfect answer, but that is hard to predict going into the race. So pick any two of Joey Logano, Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, or Chase Elliott in your NASCAR Draftkings DFS Lineups.

Chase Briscoe- ($8,200)

The driver who won here in the spring is looking to end the year the same way. Chase Briscoe came close to getting the win and earning his way into the Championship 4, but it fell apart late in the race. Briscoe wants to go out by giving his team some momentum going into the offseason at a track that he is pretty good at. Put Briscoe in your NASCAR DraftKings DFS lineups.

Michael McDowell- ($6,500)

The value option this week is the driver of the 34. Michael McDowell has had a lot of top tens this year, most of his career so far. McDowell is one of those guys wo you can rely on even though he has an underfunded car. Don’t be afraid to put the 34 in your NASCAR DraftKings DFS lineups.

Kyle Busch ($9,300)

A guy who can’t wait for this season to be over. The driver of the 18 for one more race is Kyle Busch. An abysmal last year with Joe Gibbs racing and since the playoffs started it just has not even gone his way. It got so bad that last week he was five laps down in the first stage. Kyle Busch will be better next year, but now leave him off your NASCAR DraftKings DFS lineups.

Alex Bowman ($8,000)

Alex Bowman returns to the car for the first time since Texas. Missing the last four races he comes back the final race. Bowman wants to be out there, but how much fight will he have in him this week? Bowman might just be helping out his teammates going for championships this week. Do not put the 48 car in your NASCAR DraftKings DFS lineups.

Ty Gibbs ($5,800)

Low-hanging fruit for his price, but don’t even think about putting him in your lineups. Ty Gibbs has not made many friends in the garage with his driving or his post-race actions. Gibbs is only 20 so he can still mature himself, but that will not help him this week when he gets raced closer than some others. Skip the 45 this car for your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.
