Myles Murphy Draft Profile

Strengths

Myles Murphy has rare athletic gifts for his size. He is twitchy, has a strong burst off of the line, and he has great pursuit in the run game. At his size, he offers teams versatility in position and scheme on the defensive line. Murphy is also a consistent contributor week in and week out, which can be rare for a college kid.

Weaknesses

Murphy isn’t overly technical as an edge rusher. He needs to continue adding moves in order to win against NFL tackles. While he has great pursuit, it takes a bit for Murphy to accelerate. He also doesn’t have much quickness on the interior.
