When is the 2026 NFL Draft?
The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 23, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Pittsburgh, PA. It is a football city that will provide a great backdrop for the draft festivities, but everyone is crossing their fingers that the weather cooperates. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 24th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 25th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
The long-limbed Monroe Freeling is built to be an NFL offensive tackle. But along with his size, the Georgia Bulldog is a great athlete as well. He has the quickness to pull or cross a defender’s face, and he has the fluid hips to handle defensive stunts. Freeling moves extremely well in the open field, and he sustains blocks at a high level instead of letting defenders fall off.
Weaknesses
Freeling’s fit in run-blocking is inconsistent, leading to inconsistent results. And while he moves as well as anyone, he needs to add a lot of strength. He lunges too often in pass protection. So, the lack of strength, combined with his being off balance, will lead to very costly mistakes early in his career.
