Michigan State vs Ohio State Prediction | College Basketball Betting Picks
Michigan State has struggled of late, losing four of five and six of eight, failing to cover the spread in seven of their last nine games. For the first time in ten years, the Spartans entered the season unranked, but have since earned some respect and will likely find themselves in the NCAA Tournament once again.
But a win on the road against Ohio State tonight would all but cement a bid. These are two teams fresh off of embarrassing losses. The Spartans lost to their bitter rivals in Michigan 87-70, while the Buckeyes lost, at home, to the Big Ten’s worst team in Nebraska.
The Buckeyes are also dealing with some injury issues, and it seems like Zed Key is at risk of missing this matchup altogether. His absence would put a lot of pressure on Liddel in the frontcourt, and would give MSU an edge on the glass. With that, I’ll grab MSU catching six points now, and hope that Key misses this one.
Our college basketball betting Michigan State vs Ohio State prediction tonight will be Michigan State COVERS at BetUS.
For what it’s worth, the ESPN Matchup Predictor gives Ohio State a 71.4% chance to win.
