When is the 2025 NFL Draft?

The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths

Maxwell Hairston was an obvious on-field leader in college, communicating assignments pre-snap. He appears to be a high-IQ football player, understanding not only his role but how he fits within the entire scheme. Hairston is also a talented tackler, and his run-fit is both strong and consistent.

Weaknesses

Hairston’s overall frame and build are light, leading to durability concerns if he continues to play physical football. Against the pass, he is reckless and doesn’t anticipate well. He will get beat plenty, and he has shown to be very grabby once beaten.
