The NASCAR Cup Series continues its 2022 season with a stop in Wisconsin for the Kwik Trip 250. The drivers had their first experience at the track last season when it made its Cup debut. This year though, the Cup Series has brought out new cars. The Next Gen cars take the stage on the four-plus mile track. We have had two road course races so far this season, so there is some data on who will do good and who won’t. Read below for DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks and advice for the race on Sunday.

DraftKings NASCAR DFS Overview

In this DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks column, we will be using DraftKings prices and scoring. Their scoring includes the following:

  • .25 points for leading a lap
  • .45 points for the fastest laps
  • Add/subtract a half-point based on the difference in a driver’s finishing position relative to their starting position
  • Points based on where the driver finishes

Kwik Trip 250 Drivers to Consider | DraftKings NASCAR DFS Picks

Chase Elliott ($10,400)

The young gun who has become a road course legend in his career is someone who you need to have in your lineup. Chase Elliott has won a road course race every year dating back to 2018. Last year, the 9 car was able to get around his teammate in Kyle Larson and went on to win the race. Expect Elliott to be upfront on Sunday. Include the No. 9 car in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks.

Daniel Suarez ($7,700)

How is the guy who just won three weeks ago at a road course down this low on the salary board? Daniel Suarez went on and won the race at Sonoma after leading 47 of the 110 laps and 15 of the fastest laps in the race. Not only that but Trackhouse Racing has won both of the road course races so far this season. Put the 99 car in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks.

Chris Buescher ($6,300)

Another driver who is underrated for this race relative to their price is Chris Buescher. Buescher finished second in the Sonoma race three weeks ago so he can get around the course pretty well. At this price, he will also help you with other selections. Take a shot with the 17 in your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.

Toyota Save Mart 350 Drivers to Avoid | DraftKings NASCAR DFS Picks

AJ Allmendinger ($9,100)

Copy-paste what was said for AJ Allmendinger for the Toyota Savemart 350. It was another race where he fell back and spun late, which caused him to finish lower. Now, he is coming to a track that he is familiar with as he has won here in the Xfinity Series, but that isn’t Cup. Avoid the 16 for your DraftKings NASCAR DFS picks.

Denny Hamlin ($10,200)

Denny Hamlin went out and led a bunch of laps last week en route to a sixth-place finish in the marathon that was the Ally 400. The inconsistencies for the 11 team should make you want to look elsewhere though at the price he is at. In the two races that the Cup Series has done, he has an average finish of 24.5. Something needs to change in that Joe Gibbs Team. Leave him off your DraftKings NASCAR DFS team.

Joey Logano ($9,400)

This is surprising how bad the 22 team has been on the road courses thus far. Through two road course races, Joey Logano has an average finish of 24th. This isn’t good for a top-tier team in Team Penske. Logano will get it going at some point on the road courses, but for now, don’t trust him. Logano does not need to be on your DraftKings NASCAR DFS lineups.
