Kingsley Suamataia Scouting Report

Strengths

Kingsley Suamataia has experience at both tackle spots, which will be valuable to many teams that are interested in him. he combines great balance with power, which especially shows itself in the run game. Despite being a little shorter than ideal for tackle, he still has the length to play the position, as well as the quickness to play outside.

Weaknesses

Suamataia seemingly doesn’t know how to use his hands. He also has the tendency to stand up too tall, giving up his natural leverage. Suamataia also oversets and tends to plan out his movement in pass protection instead of reacting to the defender.

Despite having the tools to be a solid tackle, Kingsley Suamataia is a project and needs a solid position coach in order to be a solid starting NFL tackle.
