Kerby Joseph Draft Profile
Strengths
One of Kerby Joseph’s biggest strengths is his patience in the running game. Instead of just running in immediately, he is often able to stop a run from breaking off into something more by cutting off the open lane before the ball carrier can get there. He has solid hands and also does a good job of anticipating how plays will develop.
Weaknesses
One of the biggest weaknesses in Joseph’s game is that although he’s able to see the play develop before it actually does, he is sometimes slow to react. Joseph isn’t a great tackler in the running game and doesn’t have the speed desired at the next level. He also ducks his head while tackling which will be a problem in the NFL.
