Josh Christopher Highlights

Josh Christopher Draft Profile

Strengths

Josh Christopher certainly counts as one of the more athletic prospects in the 2021 NBA Draft class. He has great size and a sturdy frame for a guard. Christopher has the strength to finish through contact and is a force to be reckoned with at the rim. He is also great a creating his own jump shot off the dribble. Christopher’s ball-handling is fluid and versatile. As a defender, Christopher’s upside is virtually unlimited. Again, his length and strength come into play. He projects as a multi-positional defensive player even at the NBA level. He also has a knack for blocking shots as a weakside help defender.

Weaknesses

While Christopher has a plethora of shots in his arsenal off the dribble, he struggled at times when shooting off the catch in college. Inconsistent shot-making and an awkward form led to prolonged dry spells as well. Vision in the open floor as a playmaker and as a defender is another weakness. Christopher doesn’t have a great basketball IQ and failed to pass to open teammates on many occasions.
