It was a relatively tame NFL Free Agency, but all 32 teams now have their attention directed toward the 2023 NFL Draft in order to add talent to their rosters. The first round of the draft is kicking off on Thursday, April 27th. Of course, draft analysis, projections and rumors will be dominating the NFL news until then. Among the players expected to hear his name called early on is wide receiver Jordan Addison out of USC.

The following is a complete Jordan Addison NFL Draft profile, including stats, highlights and a mock projection.

Jordan Addison Draft Profile

Strengths

Jordan Addison’s ability to line up on both the inside and outside as a wideout coupled with his sheer athleticism and quickness makes for a tough assignment for opposing corners. His speed and agility allow him to run complex routes and utilize his footwork to break away from opposing defenders. While he doesn’t always win his assignments, his acceleration and sudden turns will be very tough to manage consistently. Addison also has three years of punt return experience under his belt.

Weaknesses

Although he isn’t incredibly small at 5’11”, his biggest weakness is his strength. He noticeably lacks true strength and will rarely finish through contact — and his hands through contact aren’t the best either. Despite being able to take the top off the defense with his acceleration, he struggles to track deep balls and create catch space when downfield. His 2021 season with Pitt is also a much better indicator of his caliber than last season with USC.
