It was a relatively tame NFL Free Agency, but all 32 teams now have their attention directed toward the 2023 NFL Draft in order to add talent to their rosters. The first round of the draft is kicking off on Thursday, April 27th. Of course, draft analysis, projections and rumors will be dominating the NFL news until then. Strengths
Joe Tippmann may be the most athletic offensive lineman in the entire 2023 NFL Draft. He looks like a tight end when he’s running, so open-field athleticism will never be an issue. Tippmann has tremendous raw power, and he plays with a strong base as well. While Tippmann’s experience is at center, his size and athleticism gives teams the opportunity to slide him to either guard spot as well. He looks to be the next great Wisconsin offensive lineman in the NFL.
Weaknesses
Tippmann will not be able to rely on his strength and athleticism to consistently win in the NFL; he must improve his mechanics. He let defenders get to his pads a bit too often. Tippmann is also a big center who gives up leverage easily against smaller defenders.
