Joe Mixon fantasy owners had been disappointed through three weeks, to say the least. Many were selling him at a discount, and an injury report scare on Friday truly made it a Black Friday sale on Mixon.
However, fantasy owners that stuck with the Cincinnati Bengals running back were reward in his Week 4 game. While helping his team get its first win of the season, Mixon’s fantasy output was also everything fantasy owners had hoped for.
Joe Mixon Fantasy Performance
Entering NFL Week 4, Joe Mixon’s fantasy ranking was just RB38 in PPR scoring. This will take a big jump, following his 100-yard, multi-touchdown performance.
In the Bengals 33-25 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Mixon scored all three touchdowns for his team. This comes after failing to find the end zone in his first three games. Mixon finished the day with 151 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, while adding another six catches for 30 yards and a touchdown through the air.
The Bengals rusher has a long way to go to fully earn back the trust of fantasy owners, though this performance should go a long way. Mixon is a no-brainer fantasy start each week, and this his NFL Week 4 performance was a reminder of how talented he is.
