Ja’Tavion Sanders Scouting Report

Strengths

Ja’Tavion Sanders is a great athlete at the tight end position while also having the size to cause problems. He moves well in the open field and is capable of running routes really well too. Sanders has played most of his snaps as an in-line TE, where he likely will have the best mismatch, but he can be moved around. Everything about his build suggests he can become a reliable blocker.

Weaknesses

While Sanders should be able to become a reliable blocker, he is not there yet. He certainly needs to become stronger in order to thrive in this area, but there are some technique issues as well. Sanders also doesn’t come across as someone who wants to block. Rather, he wishes he was a wide receiver.
