When is the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The draft will take place in Green Bay, WI, which brings plenty of potential challenges. Only Round 1 will take place on Thursday. Rounds 2-3 will take place on April 25th, with the remaining four rounds wrapping up on Sunday, April 26th. There will be 257 players selected across the seven rounds, with many more getting phone calls immediately afterward.

Strengths
Jared Wilson is a great athlete on the interior of the offensive line. He is quick, has flexible hips and he can move laterally with ease. Quick feet mean he can stay in front of anyone, as he also can be a weapon getting to the second level. Wilson also has shown a great ability to anchor against the bull rush. He also has nice timing in pass protection, showing the ability to bounce between the guards or shuffle where he is needed.
Weaknesses
While Wilson is the top center in the draft, he isn’t an experienced one. He started just one season for the Bulldogs. He also doesn’t have much length, meaning some larger interior defenders will be able to create separation against him. Wilson also leans instead of strikes, and he doesn’t finish blocks to the whistle.
While many Georgia players are aggressive meatheads not scared of getting nasty, I cannot say the same of Wilson.

The Jared Wilson draft projection comes from one of the latest ESPN mock drafts, featuring a multi-round draft. However, with a couple of weeks left prior to the draft, Wilson could still find a way to climb up draft boards.
