Jaquan Brisker Draft Profile

Strengths

One of Jaquan Brisker’s biggest strengths is his instincts. Over his three seasons at Penn State, Brisker’s play transformed into a safety who can position himself exactly where he needs to be. He has good footwork and finds it easier than most to shed or get around blocks on the outside. His frame and large hands give him a great physical makeup at safety.

Weaknesses

For as good as his instincts are, Brisker does struggle with taking the right angles when breaking on throws. He struggles to recognize routes until too late and also stares down the quarterback a lot, causing him to drift off of his man at times. Brisker also has trouble taking the right angles against speedy players in open space.
