Jahan Dotson Draft Profile

Strengths

Jahan Dotson runs sharp, crisp routes that often include different speeds at all three levels. Dotson excelled at creating separation on deep routes. While he is shorter than six feet, Dotson has shown that he can play bigger, often coming down with high passes. He has great acceleration on releases, and he can also provide on special teams, as he showed big plays as a punt returner.

Weaknesses

With his ability to get open, Jahan Dotson sometimes finds himself stumbling. Dotson shows a tendency to drift on his routes. Needs to sure up his footwork on comeback routes. Physical defenders could throw him off of his game. Dotson was also sometimes brought down by arm tackles in the open field, so he needs to play stronger to get yards after the catch at the top level.
