This seems like a “get-right” game for the Indiana Hoosiers, in my opinion. Indiana comes into the tournament losing four out of their last eight games. While Kent State is not a pushover by any means, this Indiana has shown that they are one of the better teams in college basketball this season.
What Indiana also has going for them is First-Team All-American Trayce Jackson-Davis. As one of the top five players in college basketball and a projected pick in the NBA Draft, Kent State has not seen someone of Jackson-Davis’ caliber. Indiana also rebounds the ball very well. With 35.8 rebounds a game, Indiana can limit the streaky Golden Flashes. While Kent State only gives up 65 points per game, it is hard to imagine that that continues as they are no longer in MAC conference play.
